The Pirate

The pirate approached the captive captain with a drunken swagger

He was wearing a jumble of clothing

A long-sleeved white undershirt; dirty from lack of washing

The dark vest over that was frayed and worn

On top he wore a long overcoat with many pockets for stashing small trinkets

He wore long pants and tall boots which were folded over

He had many rings on his fingers, all were probably stolen

The captain shivered at the sight of this man

The pirate drew a short black pistol that was hanging next to a small sword

The captain looked at the sword and his eyes fixed on the compass on the pirate’s belt

The pirate pointed the gun at the captain and the captain pleaded,

“Please, don’t shoot me”

The pirate just grinned and said,

“Do you know who I am?” the scent of rum on his breath
The captain stared at the pirate for a minute and then shrugged his shoulders in confusion

The pirate looked hurt and said in an almost whining voice,

“I’m Captain Jack Sparrow”
