Winter is the coldest isolated

and this is the winter of our discontent

as Shakespeare put it.

One touch

and let's shove away the frozen

wasteland between ourselves and the world.

Let the frost crunch

because united we stand

and divided we fall

as Aesop put it.

If the world's hearts are beating

in unison,

who is there to tell us we're wrong?

Carve your name into the archives of eternity

as Franklin put it,

and walk towards the sky.

Who would care if the snow were falling,

if it would melt upon our heated unity

and immediately drip off into hell

where we shall never sleep alone?
