National Treasure in Poetry

There was a curious guy
And his name was Ben.
The only clue to his puzzle
Was, “Mr. Matlack can’t offend.”

Everyone thought that it meant prison.
Everyone thought that he was crazy.
Except for Riley,
Who was just shady.

They sought help
From Abigail Chase,
Who was pretty and smart
And kept up the pace.

Then they stole
The Declaration
From our country
The United Stated nation.

Then Ian and Shaw
Stole Chase away.
“Dude, we’re on the grid,”
Riley did say.

Then came the FBI
With Agent Sudusky,
Whose voice was hollow
And kinda rusty.

So at the end
The treasure was found
And a wedding proposal
Ben did sound.

So the end of the story
We are at
And if have a problem with that,
Well…too bad!
