The Jade Chimera

December 9, 2007

by: Silver Nightingale

---

There comes a time when I feel so forlorn

And I could only wish to have you near

To feel your warmth, then I won't have to fear

The bolts the bitter storm hurls down in scorn

Without you here, my heart, oh, how its torn

The pain so incomparable, eyes tear

The pain so agonizing, I could hear

Angelic whispers of the heavens bourne

And so I ask when is it I would see

The handsome face of you, my pensive man?

Am I forever cursed to just behold

Your loving eyes deep in my reverie?

Alas! Until time comes to when I can

The tempest I will brave despite the cold
