In Your Shoes

I’m not sure what to think now,
It’s like your shoes just don’t fit.
Your feet are too small; big; fat; thin.
I don’t understand these things you do.

Baby, you know I'd walk a mile, but
Every step forward is another step back.
It's almost as if you don't even know why
You do these things that you keep doing.

But that would be silly, you're not nearly
As impulsive; recklesss; careless as I am.
If you were I wouldn't have a problem,
and I wouldn't try being in your shoes.
