I was allowed to use several characters from Biest.

As the blood splattered up in the air, he calmly stepped to the side, dodging the small spread of rain.

He had never had an enemy's blood on him and he didn't intend to start now. She smiled at him with her odd, Cheshire cat like grin.

He ask "How you holding up Surrian?"

The grin spread beneath the shadow of her top hat, "Am I still smiling?"

He replied "Too true." As another person died beneath his fingertips. Feeling the blood and flesh clot beneath his fingernails, his mind drifted to the past.

He was thinking of how he met Surrian.

They first met in another battle in the past.

The two fighters were on the opposite side of the battle field.

Both had killed many people. Through the thousands of bodies the two met in the middle and were the only ones left.

A battle raged for days, blood quenching the war torn earth of its thirst. The angel and the demon sometimes felt small plants beneath them.

When they were cast to the ground. It made the angel smile madly; the demon retreated back into his thoughts and rose to meet his strange foe until

on a quiet, blood red sunset the battle ended in a draw.

Neither knew how it had happened.

Both rose to their feet and walked calmly to meet one another. A smile still lingered on the strange angel's face. A smile crossed the demons face.

He asked "You a great fighter?"

She replied with a smirk "The best."

He asked calmly "What's your name?"

She said "I will tell you mine, if you tells me yours?"

The fighter gave a short bow and replied "I am Aidake

She fires her gun over Aidake's head. Aidake stands up straight and the woman rest her gun on his shoulder and fired a few more rounds.

Aidake turns and reads out loud "Surrian, well it is nice to meet you."

She lifted her arms up in a half shrugging motion, “Well, you’re not exactly the first seven foot demon to say that to me. But oh well, where are my manners…It’s a pleasure.”

“Well.” He said, while putting away his sword… “Should I consider you my next victim or someone I could stand to team up with?”

Surrian slams her Killstick into the ground and perched upon it. Then, she rested her chin on one hand, then smirked. “Does a demon like you really need a teammate? And as for being a victim I don’t really see that happening.”

Aidake thought to himself for a second… “Hmm, well I guess not, but it is always good to have an ally. You would be a great ally. But, then again you might turn against me… Hmm.” Starts to walk back and forth, thinking to himself.

Surrian smirked, "Heh. Turn against you? Interesting concept, isn't it demon."

“Well, I am not just a demon.” Chuckled Aidake. “I am only part demon.” He looked around. “Well, I think were done here do you want to go to get a bite to eat and talk this over? My treat.” Asked Aidake.

She laughed, "No stomach. No need to eat. Sorry hybrid."

He bows, “That is fine with me. Then do you want to find a place, to relax or something?”

"Relax?" Surrian smirked and then began to laugh. A low, hysterical noise that filled the battlefield with its eerie noise.

Laughs, “My bad then, would rather talk about it here??? You, know what let’s just stay here and talk about it.” Smiles, and starts to walk around pondering how to say this… He finally thought of how to say it. “Well, I do need help fighting a few people, considering they are as strong as I. Do you think you are up to it?”

Her laugh continued to reap the sky of its color, turning the moon a blood red. There was no answer she could give as her cold, dead body continued to shudder with laughter.

He turns his head to her, “Wow that is a neat trick.” Then looks back to where he was originally looking. “How about this? Are you up to a challenge? If you come with me, you can fight to your heart’s content with demons, people, who ever opposes you. Does that sound more interesting?”

Her laughter died down slowly into a quiet snicker, "I am the angel of insanity. I am opposed by absolutely no one."

“Well, technically I just opposed you, did I not?” As Aidake grins.

The angel smirked as a cut slowly went down his cheek, "Not without retaliation...demon"

Aidake continues to grin, and doesn’t even move with the cut on his face. “Too true, but still, want me to give you a few days to think about it?” As he starts walking away.

She said nothing as a boy ran up to her, saying, "We can hit Egypt next to get the religious...I'm sorry, did I interrupt you and your friend here?" Surrian smirked quietly, "No, Let's get going."

“So, I am guessing that is no then?” He smirks.

"I have a purpose to serve. You may tag a long if you wish, but if you do not than do not expect to cross paths again."

Aidake thought about it, the smile lingering on his face.
