I learned

Of a desire unexplored

As we were hanging out

And preparing for our destinies.

As I wrote this,

I asked myself

"Would my dream become my long-awaited reality

Or would she leave me in this

Never-ending fantasy?"

I no longer wish to hold myself back

From this idea that I imagined

As I step forward,

Looking into your eyes

And taking your outstretched hand in mine

As you held me close and

Your lips touched mine...
