A/N: Sounds better with music. Third stanza repeats.

:: Love Me Then ::

Maybe if I thought a little less about you
And a little more about what you're going through
Would you love me then?
If I dressed all in blue
Would you love me then?

Red was the fire, as red as my lips,
What I read in your eyes was the sinking of ships
Did you trust me then?
Wearing night as a slip
Did you trust me then?

I am starved of your smiles
I am starved of knowing what you know

Maybe if I tried harder than I am
To learn every line in the palm of your hand
Would you believe me then?
When we danced, twice we danced,
Did you believe me then?

If I wrote in the snow all the things that I wonder
And smiled at the green of the grass showing under
Could you know me then?
If I chased away the thunder
Could you know me then?

If I thought a little less about blue
And a little more about twilight or truth
Would you love me then?
If I could catch a star for you
Would you love me then?
