Describing Perfection

Do you really expect me
To describe him to you?
You?
I don't even know you.
You may think you know me
But you don't.
And you can't ask questions like that
Personal questions
Questions I have a hard time answering
Even to my best of friends
When you don't know me.
How does that work?
I can't describe him to you.
I don't even know how.
And you want this,
No,
You expect this from me.
Yeah.
That's gonna happen.
So you put a grade on it.
Tell me I have to answer
Or I'll get in trouble.
How do I respond to that?
How do I describe perfection?
He's amazing.
Wonderful in every way.
Angry, happy, loving, funny, sad, lonely, friendly, awesome.
Childish, immature, violent, gentle, caring, cute, annoyed, forgiving.
So many words I could pick...and yet
I don't know enough adjectives to describe him.
Perfect.
That's the word.
And he would be all mine.
Is that what you're looking for?
I can't describe him any more than that.
You try describing perfection sometime.
It's not as easy as you think.

Yeah. This is going to sound a lot like what CC said on that one poem, but whatever: If you know me, this isn't about anyone in particular. It's a poem. About an assignment. That's all. Nothing else. Have a nice day.
