hey, this is something i wrote a few years ago. i've always felt so much younger than i really am. which is alright i suppose because everyone thinks i'm younger than i am anyway. this poem really shows me. i will eternally be a little girl by both choice and not. someday i'll figure it out. but i like who i am and how i think. i hope you like this poem. i do.

Behind the Mirror

Behind the mirror
Sits a girl
Is that me?
She hides in the dark
Away from the world
Pure little angel
A child is she
Behind the mirror
Rests a life
Out of control
Withering away
Is that me?
I can see
The world blooming around her
Seasons pass
Still she sits
A year, then two
Unchanging, she smiles
Behind the mirror
The eternal child lies
Never growing up
That is me

soooo how'd you like it? remember, i wrote it a few years ago before my "poetry-skillz" were increased. .
