Chapter eleven

The parting

A/N THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERISTING!

As soon as they were alone, Jurgen turned placed his hand under Adrienne's chin and, bending down, kissed her gently on the forehead "I do hope Bruckner and Losi did not have to get into touble on my account. But resourceful and know how to be obtuse if necessary." He saw Adrienne's puzzled exprision "By obtuse I mean dense, thick." He laughed.

She smiled "I think that describes the rascals admirabley." He took her hand and squeezed it gently. "I will move heaven and earth to keep you safe." He sai and moving across the room he took the water jug placed there by Kathryn and poured some into the large bowl.

"I must have a wash and clean up before I go" he said. "I wish you could stay." said Adrienne "I owe you so much. possibly my life. If only there was something I could do, someway I could make your sacrifice worthwhile."

Jurgen looked down at Adrienne. He observed her body shape, the small waist the pert shapely breasts and the way frau Berger's light blue dress flowed from her hips to her knees revealing long shapely calves, trim ankles and small feet. Encased in Frau Berger's elegant heeled shoes. He thought 'The maker must have considered it a brilliant joke to make some one so young, so innocent, so very busty yet so very willowy.' He recoilled in horror at the direction his thoughts were going.

Never the less his eyes were drawn to her face. His eyes full of emotion he compared her skin to china, a rich creamy porcelain. Large wide eyes shadowed by inordinately long lashes and raven black hair tinged auburn by the setting sun.

He noted the perfect teeth biting into her lower lip gently and the full ricness of her mouth. He sighed softly and thought 'It is all worth it even now she is with out doubt a woman to die for.' He shuddered at the thought and thought again. 'She is a woman to live for not to die for.'

'That idea I keep upper most in my mind for now.' "if you only knew." he sighed "but now I must freshen up for the journey back." He turned his back, stripped to the waist, revealing as a legacy to the trainning and out door regime of the S.S. A tanned torso heavily muscled and bursting with vitality. He scrubbed himself clean, towelled himself down. picked up his shirt and turned to Adrienne.

With surprise he saw that she was asleep curled up on the bed, breathing gently. He smiled to himself, bent down to feel her breath on his skin and kissed hergently on the lips.

She murmoured softly and smiled in her sleep. He straitened up, picked up a blanket and covered her completely just leaving the top of her head showing. He dressed and left the room quietly. Kathryn was waiting for him in the parlour.

"Have you said your goodbyes?" she asked. "Not exactly. She fell asleep. I thought it best to leave her to rest. I must be going now. When she wakes up tell her I will be back at the first opportunity, and yes I will be careful. Thank you for every thing you have done for us. I must be off now or I shall be in trouble."

With that he turned and left the house, climbed behind the wheel of the mercedes and set off along the dusty lane to return to his chosen life knowing that nothing would ever be the same.
