the air suffocates
takes everything to a point
a sharp, blurry, unknown point
draws all the life
from the lungs of all the creatures
the poor creatures

with the overflowing dead hopes
let it drip down your throat
fear draped over eyes looking straight up
up at God
where'd he go?
