Love can be seen as a fire
If so then let it burn
There is but one who lights my flame
Just one for whom I yearn
In me the fire grows constantly
A beautiful dancing light
She's on my mind throughout the day
And of course at night

Love is known as Cupid's arrow
I've been hit square in my heart
He must have fired when first we met
Because I've loved her since the start
If Cupid's arrow gives me love
I don't want it removed
I'll wear this arrow with much pride
I don't want this wound soothed

Love is seen as a drug
With it's ecstatic pains
I would be an addict then
Love pulses through my veins
I'm addicted
To my lover
I've not been like this
For any other

Love could be an exquisite blade
forged by a skillful smith
It leaves much pain in it's wake
But it's pain I can live with
Hand to me the beautiful sword
I wish to caress the blade
It's cut down men mightier than I
But I am not afraid

More addictive than any drug
More beautiful and deadly than fire or sword
Love is an experience all of it's own
One of which you'll never get bored
I m in love with a beautiful girl
You may have already guessed
Love's traumatic, but leaves you ecstatic
In short love is the best
