As morn's twilight starts to wain and the horizon begins to glow, two silhouettes appear. One is standing, one is sitting. One is smoking, one is drinking. Both are somber. Both are in neutral colors. But as the light blossoms, the woman that is standing drops her cigarette and smiles.

"See that Rising Sun?" the woman cries, eyes starting to shine.

"That fiery Orb that is rising in the East? It has been like that for ages. Always burning. Always rising. Always illuminating. Sometimes we miss the blinding light that is obscured through veils upon veils in the heavens and on the plane. But it is constant is it not? We know it is always there. It is always guiding. It takes a firm hand in guiding life! Everything bends towards that Orb. Plants grow towards its guiding warmth! Animals hide when it is veiled! Humans tremble and dive indoors when that guiding Orb slides outside their line of sight. It burns the sky and scorches the sky! Everything is guided by this glorious orb!"

She smiles and salutes the glowing horizon, her stance that of power. She reached into her jacked and pulled forth a cigarette. A flash of light and she is smoking once again. The young man sitting to her right laughs lightly. He stretches languidly in his chair and takes a sip from his glass of bourbon.

"But what of the world that waits for that Orb to descend? That Rolling Veil that gives the Orb its power is what so many wish for. It is exciting. It is vibrant! The silky light that radiates from our own orbs is more revealing than that fire that blinds from yours! Our light shimmers upon the waves of the world and wraps the soil in relaxing waves! We only see this so called brilliance because of our own. Yet ours is when the world is most vibrant! The dreams are born when the Veil is full. The thoughts are culled and brought about while the Veil is drawn! How can you say that your Orb is the only center of light?"

The boy smiled and offers a cheers to the woman. He stretches and smiles that coy little smile that shows knowledge beyond his age. His poise is that of a relaxed life. He does not appear overly anything but there. All around, an air of warmth and nature roll around.

"So is there an answer to our differences?" the woman asks, here eyebrow arched severely.

"Perhaps each other?" The boy replies.

"Ah yes. For we are one of the whole," the woman replies again. And as the fired Orb rises further, two white dots light the distance heading towards the two.

"Alas we must away! For time encroaches again!" the boy cries and stands, the chair vanishing into the asphalt upon which he stands. "Tell me Eve, shall our brood ever realize that you were the strong and I was the weak?"

"Oh dear Adam, few shall ever know," she replies and takes his hand. "They still trivialize over things we had settled ages ago." She laughs and begins to walk away, leading her love behind.

"And this is evolution? Division?" Adam frowns and shakes his head. "Maybe we should have bitten deeper into that apple." They both laugh as they disappear into the wind in the perfect balance of life as the cars start to race down the highway, oblivious to the pure form of life that was there just moments before.
