Twisted Nightmare

Cruel and macabre

Lurid like the untouched cry in the tempest

Spiraling my mind in numbing awe

Animating the pain and despair of my agony

Growing thicker since abandoned…

As it sparks the gentle pulse of my blood flow

Feeble efforts to suppress the nightmare

Thriving off the terror flared through my intent

The phobia, acrid…

To every move I make

Awakened in the dusk of night,

Seething my wake

Waking the pain of despair

Misery subsides

As a violent plea for strength

Ire to its will

As the throb of a twisted nightmare begins.
