See that girl?
Isn't she lovely?
Isn't she perfect?
Isn't she the one we all want to be?
But did you know,
That she's not all that she's cracked up to be?
She rises with the sun,
And applies her mask
in the morning,
To face every day.
Did you know that she's all fake?
Her nails are pink,
But they're not really.
She owns each brand,
But she can't afford it.
She wears those clothes,
But they're not her.
Her hair has curls,
But there not hers.
She acts so confident,
But inside she's shaking.
She acts so impeccable,
But inside she's breaking.
She doesn't know what
to do anymore.
But, how can someone so in place
Be so lost within the world?
