-1After I got my schedule, I walked around looking for my first class. I mean, come on being late on the first

day, so not cool….ok, I just didn’t really have anyone to hang out with, but that doesn’t make me a

complete loser….does it?

“ Here we are, A 203. “

Welcome to English. the sign read. I stepped inside. The class was empty, except the teacher and some guy

sitting in one of the desks. I took a look around. At one side of the room, two voluminous windows stood

wide open…looking out the window, it was like watching marine life in an aquarium. First you have the

Butterfly Fish: Attractive, Two-faced, demanding attention. Second you have the Tuna Fish: vulnerable,

stronger in numbers, always traveling n schools .

Thirdly, the Sharks: Aggressive, domineering, fatal.

Then there’s me, a new, un approached , unidentified species.

“ Hey, you just gonna stand there, or are you going to take a seat? “ I looked up and saw those same Olive-Green eyes from earlier.

“ Now, Zachary, is that any way to treat our new student? Show a little respect, will you? “ Said Mrs. Avery.

Jeanine Avery was a frail woman whose dark red hair, seemed to frame her face.

She wore a flowy, long pink skirt. With a sleeveless white blouse and short-white heels to match.

Her Pink spectacles hung on a beaded chain around her neck. Already she was my favorite teacher.

“What ever,” He replied, “ and it’s Zack, not Zachary. “
