Death’s Abyss

Downcast into hell’s fissure

Neglected by the surface of the Earth and

Forlorn in the decay of concrete vines

Coiled to the impure clay which rests in liberty.

An enigma of patterns etched

Within the tangle of stygian crust

Towering from hell’s chasm…

Death’s Abyss…

The void forsaken by the divine.

Living as a vile scar

Torn by the unforgiving wasteland

As its hinder dilutes to

Devour the snake bit obsidian which lies throughout.

Raven hollows, onyx like the

Maddening claws of umbrage

Aslant while closing in

Dominating the elation, repulsed by Death’s Abyss.
