As she sauntered into the room, the atmosphere was brighter somewhat. She hung her jacket on one of the coat pegs, swung her bag over her shoulder and went and sat on her seat. He smiled at her and a set of silver braces shone back at him, She had had orthodontic work done during the summer. Braces made her look younger but the amount of make-up she had on her eyes constituted for this. Every day, she would have a different colour of eye shadow on and she always had eyeliner on. She drummed her pen on the desk and looked around. She was the first person here. The others came in within little groups of two and three. She beamed up at her friend, they embraced and made conversation. When she spoke with the other three girls that sat around her, her bright and bubbly personality shone through. He walked to the front of the class again and they promptly stopped talking until he walked past.
He told them to settle down and started the lesson. This year was their crucial year and he had to help them as much as possible. He turned round again and she was yawning, stretching and he tried not to look at her blouse stretching across her breasts. But of course, he couldn’t because he was the teacher and she was the pupil and that was the way it would always be.
