A/N: Just so you all know, I've used the word 'mortar' in this. One of the definations of mortar is 'gun firing lifeline: a gun for firing something other than a bullet, e.g. rope to somebody in need of rescue

A Mother's Christmas Carol

--

The jolliest day of the year,

is right around the corner!

And, oh my dear, I fear,

I'm in desperate need of a mortar!

-

THE HAM, THE HAM!

Somebody save the ham!

OH DEAR, OH DEAR!

Who gave Lawrence the beer?!

THE FIRE, THE FIRE!

Someone put out the fire!

-

The jolliest day of the year,

is right around the corner!

And, oh my dear, I fear,

I'm in desperate need of a mortar!

-

OH NO, OH NO!

Outside the snow must go!

THE CAT, THE CAT!

Scat you! Scat!

THE DOG, THE DOG!

He's trying to lay a log!

-

The jolliest day of the year,

is right around the corner!

And, oh my dear, I fear,

I'm in desperate need of a mortar!
