We were all little kids once, so I shouldn't have to tell you that when we we're little kids, everything was easy and pretty carefree; so go back to it all.

Pretend

Pretend it’s all quiet

Pretend like you did as a kid

Pretend there’s no war

And you’re sitting alone,

Young and Free,

Nativity…

Pretend it’s all sane

Pretend like you did when you hid

Pretend there’s no fear

And you’re in the dark,

Scared and Shelled

Hell…

Pretend it’s all over

Pretend like you did when you cried

Pretend there’s no death

And you’re all cozy by the light

Peace and Quiet

….

But the riots blast through the stereos

And the air raids come and go

But the Devils plead, your soul to keep

And they always attack just as you dream

So let’s just, get away.

Let’s just pretend it all away.

There’s no war tonight, the distance between has vanished and I’m right by your side.

And nothing will stop us…

Tonight.
