Prologue

How to describe my life so far? Pretty fucked up would be the answer. Perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself now, for you to fully understand I must start at the beginning. This is no fairytale, there are no happy endings, and I got to where I am now by trusting no-one and nothing, feelings are out of the equation, accidents happen when feelings are brought in.

Remember those nights when sometimes you wake up in a cold sweat, you just lay there in the darkness, to scared to move, afraid of what is lying in wait. Then the sun rises and those fears disappear with it, you tell yourself it was just a nightmare. Or perhaps that time you walk home at night, then halfway you get that feeling you are not alone. Perhaps you start to run, or just move that little bit quicker. Finally upon reaching your house you look around, nothing’s there and you just shake it off as paranoia but remember, not everyone makes it home.

You may listen to what I say and disbelieve, but you must remember this is true; it may save your life someday. This is my story.
