One True Destiny

"Tyson!!" A blond with gorgeous brown eyes giggled as he tried to dodge the splashing water.

"Come on Jaydin!" Tyson said playing in the lake water.

Jaydin just looked at his loving boyfriend in the rain, watching as the water continued to soak his body. "No, you're just gonna get me even more wet!" he tried to get out of the lake, but Tyson kept pulling him closer, deeper into the lake.

This time, Tyson wrapped his arms in a tight grip around Jaydin's fragile body, making sure the little blond couldn't escape. "I love you," Tyson softly whispered into Jaydin's ear, making sure he understood what he meant.

"Tyson," Jaydin turned around in his lover's arms and passionately kissed his lips.
A smile appeared on the brunette’s face, “Jayd… we’re gonna get sick,” he whispered letting the boy go.

“I won’t mind being sick, just as long as I know I got you sick as well,” Jaydin laughed, hugging Tyson close, “as long as I never lose you.

They stood hugging each other in the middle of the lake for a long time before they realized that it was freezing cold… they decided to make their way to the sandy beach.

"Jaydin..." Tyson whispered, rubbing the wet blond hair, that was laying upon his chest.

"Hmmm?" Jaydin asked, his eyes closed, snuggling into Tyson a little more, the rain, still no sign of letting up.

Tyson looked down, pulling him closer, causing Jaydin to look up into the emerald eyes of his one true love. "It's raining," he stated the obvious, causing Jaydin to start giggling.

"Really? I never knew that that wet stuff from the sky was rain..." Jaydin stood up, the cold rain hitting his back, giving him goosebumps. "But it is very beautiful!" he started to dance around, twirling in circles.

"Haha, I'm glad you liked the night," Tyson gazed at his “forever and always”, zoning out, “Jayd, you are the only for me, the only one I will ever cherish so much, the one that means everything... All in one heartbeat, all in just a second with you, i know it's okay, I feel safe in your arms, and I'm sure you feel protected in mine. There is just one thing that lasts forever, one thing, that few are lucky to find, my one true destiny, my reason to live, you...” Lost in deep thought, he'd been ignoring what Jaydin had said.

Finally, Jaydin sat down beside him again, just as a wave came up over them. "I always knew…" Jaydin smirked, hoping Tyson would know what he was talking about. But, to his surprise, Tyson did nothing; he had his head in the clouds. "Typical!" Jaydin gently shock him back to Earth.
"Yea?" Tyson asked, memorized by the chocolate brown eyes in front of him.

"Did you listen to what I said?"

"Eh..." he scratched his head, trying not to look so stupid. "Well, no..."

Jaydin placed his hands on his hips and gave a disappointed look to Tyson, "I said... I always knew dot dot dot,” he spelled the words out, waiting for a response.

"You're such a dork, it's far from that!" Tyson wrapped his arms around Jaydin's slender body. "But, I do love that movie..." Tyson planted his lips against Jaydin's…

Jaydin found his way around to Tyson's hair, running his fingers through the ratted mess, but he began to break away, "Are you calling me a whore?" he asked innocently.

"No, not at all," a look of sarcasm crossed Tyson's face, his head tilted against Jaydin's.
"I see how it is..." Jaydin laughed as he leaned in again to kiss his boyfriend.

“Ty… we need to get home, my brother and your sister are probably starting to worry,” the blonde said, breaking the silence.

Tyson gave him a look of sadness, but at the same time puppy dog eyes. "Pwease Jayd," he said as though he was five.

His eyes became softer but he still refused, "My dad is going to realize we're gone, if we don't go soon."

"Something is wrong with him, why would he let me, you, Kenya, and D.J all stay on the same night? Is he like blind?" Tyson stood up, holding his hand out for Jaydin.

Grabbing it thankfully, Jaydin pulled himself up. "I don't know, but I agree, he can't see me, or you together, okay, it's not usually obvious... but D.J and your sister, that's like missing the.. Missing link! Or like a dinosaur in the middle of the city," He laughed, knowing that that no one would know what the missing link was.

"That would be funny. But your dad is like a brown in the crayon box," Tyson laughed as the two began walking down the street.

"Yea, I know, I don’t understand who he get through life sometimes.”

Tyson locked their fingers together; walking down the street, "Yeah, I pretty much agree!"
"Hey," Jaydin's eyes lit up. "I have an idea..." his face became mischievous, "let's skip down the street!!"

A groan let out of Tyson's mouth, "Jayd, do I absolutely have too?"

Their hands separated as Jaydin put his together, begging, "Come on, please!?"

"Fine," Tyson gave in, "but, you owe me..."

"YAY!!" Their hands locked together once more as Jaydin started to skip, Tyson soon following his lead.

"Ohhh!!! We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard I love!" Being a lead singer in a band came in at a very good time, for Jaydin sounded beautiful.

"Jayd, only you would sound beautiful, singing a Wizard of Oz song, wrong, I might add," His voice came out a whisper, but Jaydin heard him fine.

"Well, I've only met the Wiz once, so, I couldn't very well love him..." it was obviously a hint, and Tyson got it.

"So, when you first saw me... Mr. Cool, you didn't immediately fall in love?" Tyson mocked some of Jaydin’s first words when the two met a few years back..

"Oh, well, I guess you could be that one exception... but don't tell any one..." Jaydin stopped to kiss Tyson, but a horn ruined the moment.

"What in the hell!?" Jaydin turned to the road and found a 1996 Mustang GT speeding at the. "A hole!" he yelled again, but this time backed away a little, noticing that he wasn't about to slow down.

Jaydin screamed as the car came onto the sidewalk, he was frozen with fear, but, just as the car hit, someone pushed him out of the way.

A noise of breaking sounded… bones, the sidewalk, something fell to the ground…
Direct hit, but no, not Jaydin. Beside the frightened boy, lay a motionless body; it was Tyson, covered in blood. And the sound of the engine roared and the guy's voice echoed through the road... "Homo's!”

Jaydin screamed again, but this time out of is anger, "Fing homophobic!!!" his eyes began to swell, and the rain, was still beating, there it was, the loss of the one thing that meant so much, in one moment it was gone, just like that.

Traumatized, Jaydin struggled to pull out his cell phone; it was stripped purple and green. He called 911... but was Tyson going to be able to make it? Was he going to live through the worst memory Jaydin now held?

Rain beating down,
Against my skin,
Just one more time,
One more chance to live!
This is my way,
The way you felt about me!
--Now,
Blinded by light!
I can't say good-bye!
It just doesn't seem right!
No longer with you in my arms,
I still want to hold you tight!
Please, don't let the glass be shattered!--
Standing by your side,
Holding your hand,
Remembering what we may no longer have!!
But, I know,
I dunno,
Can this be real?
This is the worst feeling,
All this pain!
Time: Unknown,
Not letting go!
Not going to be to fragile,
Forever hasn't past yet!
Lights are on,
Shining on you!
Don't forget your promise!
--Now,
Blinded by light!
I can't say good-bye!
It just doesn't seem right!
No longer with you in my arms,
I still want to hold you tight!
Please, don't let the glass be shattered!--
I can't say good-bye!!!
Not after all I've gone through!
I can't live without you in my arms!!
Believe in me,
faith in you heart!!!
No---
No more shattered glass!!

Jaydin sat beside Tyson, he had been partially paralyzed, but, it'd been only a few days ago that that guy had tried to kill them, only a few days ago that Tyson saved his , he sat, waiting and whatching, the whole time, holding Tyson’s hand. Of course, this caused great suspicion through out the hospital, but, he didn't care, he didn't care about the rumors about him. Even though, they really weren't rumors, but in fact the truth. If someone would ask, maybe then they'd get to know the truth... "That I love you," Tears rolled down Jaydin's face as he printed the words above the newly written song: ONE TRUE DESTINY (NO MORE GOOD-BYES).

"This is for you… Ty, I’m not ready to say good-bye.”

::--::

Walking down the street was a six-foot blond. His head down, so you were unable to see the depths of brown that were his eyes, even if you were to get a glimpse, to would still be difficult to see the beauty upon his face. For, two months ago, a speeding car struck the love of his life. This lead to Jaydin to realize how much Ty really meant to him, how much one person could mean so much. Leaving the thoughts of them together is impossible for the blond to do.

''It's entirely fault, Ty! You'd be here if it wasn't for me... I should have pushed you out of the way, more me than you..." Jaydin stopped at the road, bringing his head up looking at the light change green. As it did so, he continued to walk, dazing off in his own world, "Or, maybe if we never had a date that night, after all, it was my idea... now, that I'm alone, and miserable... what can I do! There is no way that you're coming out of that dmn coma anytime soon!! God, I don't know what I'd do without you... I really don't know. Tyson, I'd rather die, then put up with not having you!" Jaydin, once more looked up, but, this times, he whipped the tears that were beginning to form at his eyes once more.

Before he had a chance to realize what was going on, he heard voices. They sounded familiar; he'd heard them before. His eyes darted around the street block as the voices grew louder. Laughing, about what though. Jaydin struggled to hear the conversation, still unable to see where the people were.

"Thanks again Henry, that meant more than the world to me! Getting rid of that boy! Now... he's all to mine... my Jaydin." A woman's voice was bitter, cold; heartless towards whomever it was that they were talking about.

"Sam?" At last, Jaydin found the voice's faces. It was his ex-girlfriend, the woman who’s heart he’d broken after a three month relationship. Tyson was more than she could give, she wasn’t love. Without realizing it, Jaydin was running, at the sight of a 1996 Mustang GT. That's right, he'd never realized it, Sam was always driving around a Mustang...

"Dude!" the man identified as Henry shouted greeting Jaydin. But the greeting became a fight very quick.

Jaydin swung his fist against Henry's face, causing spit, blood and some chewing gum to fly everywhere. "Forget you!" Jaydin yelled kicking his stomach, then pulling his head back, by the hair. "Why... why do you think you could ever do this to me?" Jaydin's glance turned to his 'friend' who was staring unable to comprehend how fast that was.

Henry was drenched in blood, on the verge of death, but, still barely breathing. "Well!" Jaydin screamed, drawing a slight crowd.

"Jaydin, what's wrong with you?" Sam tried to change the subject.

With burning eyes, and blooding palms, Jaydin threw Henry down and swung at Sam. But, an inch way from her face, he remembered Ty's voice... ‘Jayd, don't...’ Faint words echoed through the blonde’s head, but he still lowered his hand. He began to walk away from the car but the thought of Ty's motionless body flashed in his mind. "Sam, you’re a bitch, I'd better not see you, crying at his side... Ty and I were your friends you ruined that. I never want to see you again." His voice was calm, about to crack, as he turned away once more.

As he heard the dismembered man began to struggle to his feet, the words that came out his mouth caused Jaydin to go into a rage, "For someone like him... he has more than a queer punch."

Suddenly, Henry's face was met with Jaydin's foot; "You couldn't drop it!!" he looked like pure evil, drug back from hell. Ice eyes were melting into a dark shade of red. "I swear on Tyson's life, that if he dies... You won't have a chance to pray... Your life will be taken." This time, Jaydin walked away, making sure that neither of them said something stupid enough to say anything else.

:-:Hospital:-:

Jaydin walked through he sliding doors that lead into the hospital. That waiting room was full of people who had destroyed looks on their faces. "They know my pain..." he thought to himself as he walked up to the check in desk. He asked for Ty, and gave his information, as he did everyday. Most the nurses knew him already, and were starting to talk a little, and sympathize, but, there were the few who either didn't care, was new, or rarely at the front desk.

All the way down the hall, Jaydin kept thinking, about Sam, about that guy... but most importantly, Tyson. What would happen if he never recovered? "No..." Tears started to form in his eyes as he got to the door, but some familiar voices were talking, inside... about a vegetated state.

"Doctor... are you absolutely sure that it's the last option?" a crying Mrs. Yagel asked.
"I'm sorry, if he doesn't come through soon, then this will be the last chance to try and get him conscience," the doctor said, sounding sad about having to say that Tyson may never get another chance at life.

He tried hard to blink away even more tears that seemed to be piercing his eyes, but it was hard. The love of his life, the only one that really understood him for him, was about dead. "So..." Jaydin whispered to himself.

"Jaydin?" the door had opened and Tyson's parents walked out, fear across their face. "Did you hear it all?"

"Yea... I did," he said, leaning against the wall.

"Well, we were talking it over, if it came to this..." Mrs. Yagel looked towards her husband. "And we decided that you would have the chose to let him go... Your chose to let him stay in a coma, or not." Tears were coming down the woman's pale face, overlapping the pervious sobs.

His brown eyes widened and then shut again, "I can't..." his voice cracked and he couldn't look into the eyes of people who were like his family. "He's your son, and that decision is yours to make. You shouldn't give it to some love sick guy who kinda put Tyson were he is anyways..."

There was a short silence, before Mrs. Yagel wrapped her arms around the skinny blond. "Hun, we love you, it's not your fault that he was hit by someone who was a homophobe... And he'd want the love of his life to tell whether or not he's ready to leave us."

:-:Jaydin's House:-:

"Tyson... I love you with every once of my soul, but, I dunno if I can make a decision about your life. The only thing I knew was that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you... can I just get that. Please, wake up, you mean everything..." The tears were rolling down his face, just as, what seemed like his life, the last few months brought him. As he thought more of his love, he was writing down these words:

Blood to blood,
I whisper your name,
Ashes and stones aren't the game,
Eyes so gone,
Worlds so black…
My one true destiny is breaking…

::--::

Jaydin was sitting in his room it was depressing. He hadn't really been in his house for a long time. About three hours a day, and that was for sleep. Although, he only got two hours of sleep, his life had broken down since Tyson was sent to the hospital. But, he kept his grades up. He knew Tyson would be disappointed if he hadn't. That was something he knew that he would continue to do right, after all, all this chaos and blood was his fault.

"I should kill myself," he whispered. His legs were propped against his chest, chin resting his knees... staring at a picture of Ty. "It's my fault anyways!" he said a little louder, he started crying, as something hit his head. He didn't bother looking over at who threw it; he really didn't care too much.

It was obvious who it was, “Jayd, you would regret every minute of that, I’d make sure of it,” DJ stood in his doorway. He walked in and took a seat beside his brother, sad that he looked like he really did want to die.

DJ put his hand on Jaydin's shoulder, “It’s not your fault.”

“People keep telling me that DJ…and I can’t believe it…”

There was a dead silence Jaydin lay still, waiting. For something that he knew wasn't ever going to happen. Still he waited. He wondered if he should tell DJ, after all, anyone had the right to know. But, he couldn't seem to find the words. He still didn't know what to do. If setting Tyson to rest was the best idea, but was he thinking more about himself, or Tyson?

All the thoughts disappeared; there wasn't anything he could do, nothing that would get him to make a decision. But, still, he wanted to live with Tyson, forever. And then, all of life's meaning came rushing to him: Although life takes turns, and the voices in your head aren't what you're really thinking. Or... it could be, that's not the right judgment, how can something be so cruel. How could life go on, without you? Every moment I breathe, and every moment I think, it's about you and your safety. Life is just the lies that come with purple ribbons tied, around the holiday gift that never seems to be liked. Cruel, cruel life, all the makings can't ever come out right. "No!" Jaydin screamed running out the door. He couldn't take this anymore he needed to be alone.

After hours of roaming around the small town they lived in, he found himself outside of the hospital. All the memories came back, of Tyson and of Sam… DJ, Kenya. All the times they’ve spent together.

If Tyson were in pain, then maybe, but how would he know whether or not he was in pain. “Jaydin, you have to make a choice. You’re here, now!” he walked in slowly, making up his mind as soon as he got to the front desk.

It seemed as though every eye was looking at him, knowing what he was thinking. But how could they? Were their loved ones dying, paralyzed? Tears rolled down his face as he told the nurse what to do…
