Introduction:

for J.R. who was recently diagnosed with Valley Fever

trapped in the late stages;

living life to the fullest.

this is an intense journey.

who knows where this will go?

An evolution:

me—I am wondering where that hate came from. Where did that innocent girl go? Why did she turn to the darkness to explore? The moth—her eyes were too big, and her innocence hanging—stared longingly at the spider’s prey, wishing that for once, she can be held in his tender grasp on silk sheets.

my poetry: a bit too conceptual? (we shall see.) I feel that we are due for a change…to mature. As a fellow friend and writer on this site, losingmyfaith has pointed out that my vocabulary has grown. Another friend of mine has also told me that my words stay in her mind…and just makes her want to get up and write. (Yay!!)

be prepared…

I’m in fear for what I try to call love—

So may call hate.

I am here to find who I am; what I am.

For now:

I am human. I live. I laugh. I love. I write. I hurt. I bleed. I cry. I continue on.
