Those three words

They’re said so much

Yet no one seems to hear

The true meaning deep down

It’s just that hard to say them

But yet it’s so easy

You can rest your heart now

Just close your eyes and sleep

Don’t worry about a thing

As we slip into this duality

Because music saves our lives

Just slow your soul now

Stop your spinning world

Before ours collide

If I could, then I would

Be right there by your side

I feel the rhythm in my fingers

I hear the music in my heart

Something deep inside has triggered

We have come so far

Can you hear me where you are?

A thousand miles away

Are you thinking of home

When you’re alone in your head

Whatever makes you happy

I want you to have it

Whatever you want

I hope you can get it

Maybe someday you’ll be back

I just hope I’m there

But…

Is your heart really worth defending?

Did you ever even care?
