May 28th, 2012: This story was originally removed from FictionPress due to the fact that somebody plagiarized it. Since then, I put this story up - in full - on other SAFER websites such as Inkpop (now Figment) and my LiveJournal account.

However, I have since removed this story from all sites and am currently in the process of doing some heavy-duty editing. I plan to self-publish this as an e-book on the Kindle store on Amazon sometime in the VERY NEAR future. I apologize for any inconvenience, but I am leaving the first chapter up - not as a tease, but more as a sample. I may add a few more up soon for others who are first-time readers.

If anyone is interested in finding out more about the whole e-book thing (and if you would be interested in being notified when it is available for purchase), please send me a message. When I eventually put it up for sale, I will be pricing it very reasonably (probably a couple of bucks). I would also like to eventually perhaps pursue actual publishing, and because of this, I will no longer be keeping the full book up anywhere on the Internet.
