(A/N: If you can, read this one out loud. It moves and sounds like the rain if you let it.)

RAINING

Thunder.

The booming in the distance,

Hear it coming through the fog.

Lightning.

Sprinkling light among the shadows,

Striking those too weak or slow.

Raindrops.

Drumming a steady beat down, down,

Soaking through to every soul.

Heartbeat.

The quickening pace grows faster still.

Clutch your side and

Catch your breath now,

As the rain pounds upon your chest.

Holding,

On to the life that held no point.

Let go

Give up your useless fight.

Only happy thoughts now,

Let go,

To loose yourself in the wind.

Let go,

Let these feelings give you flight.

Soaring,

Above the dense greens that lie below.

Crying,

With the tears the wind now blows.

Fearful,

Of the thunder in your ears.

Fearful,

Of the heaven’s bountiful tears.

Fearful,

Of the lightning’s evil leers.

Silent.

Though the noise is much to bare,

Don’t let it overcome you.

Let the beauty take you in.

Let the stars shine brighter,

Within your presence.

Show the world just who you are.

Thunder.

The booming in the distance,

Hear it coming through the fog.

Lightning.

Sprinkling light among the shadows,

Striking those to weak or slow.

Raindrops.

Drumming a steady beat down, down,

Soaking through to every soul.

Show the world just who you are.

Show yourself you have a soul,

Go back and discover your life’s goal.

Through the rain you’ll find your way,

For soon will dawn another day.

Wipe the tears from those sad eyes,

Follow your heart, it never lies.

Get up from your sorry mound of mud,

Learn to face your troubles without the blood.

Now forget the deathly pain,

Come alive in flight with the rain.

Thunder.

Growing fainter with the distance,

Hear it leaving you alone.

Lightning.

Barely seen among the shadows,

Strikes weakening as it goes.

Raindrops.

Tapping lightly and lighter still,

No longer drenching through and through.

Heartbeat.

The quickening pace grows faster still.

Clutch your side and

Catch your breath now.

As the raindrops linger,

The wind lets you fall,

The thunder stops,

The lightning gives way to dark,

The flight comes to an end.

Flight.

Though the flying has ceased,

And the crying is no more.

It was a wonderful sensation,

Filled with happy thoughts galore.

Now show the world just who you are,

Show them the heavens filled with stars.

Learn from nature when it cries,

Escape your troubles, come and fly.
