I.

Who's afraid of the darkness?!
No certainly not me!
There is not enough room for
both you and me
Try me and see
You can't scare me!
Dare you drag me into nothingness

II.

For there is love
From up above
It visits me
A treasure trove
There is no way
To take it away
For it is the light of day!

III.

The absolute middle of the week
There is a rain; a steady pain
Is this the punishment you seek?
For it is slowly affecting me

IV.

Creeping in the shadows
In someone else's dream
Trying to find what it means
There is something that talks
to me
At night, I cannot see
What is there left, left of me?

V.

What's that sound?!
No one's around
So why do I feel always
pinned down?
I cannot breathe
It feels different to me
It's coming close
It's coming slow
What it is I do not know

VI.

You'll never take me!
I won't let you!
Go away and leave me be!
You will not drag me into insanity!

VII.

Where are you taking me?
Have I died?!
Insanity's taken and eaten me alive
I cannot remember what has changed
Or how much left of me do remains

The light blinds me
The light of death
Counting the time that I have left
Asking me my many regrets
And all the things I did not get

It tells me once
It tells me twice
Then I begin to open my eyes
The image I see isn't clean
It feels so wrong of me
To live a life I haven't seen
