The Cliff

I was on the
Edge of the cliff
And I didn’t
Like what I saw
So I took a step back.
But you gave me
That extra push to
Get away
From the edge.
You were there when
It felt like no one was
There, and no one cared.
And you’re right,
God put you on this
Earth for a reason.
You were there for me.
You helped me up when
I didn’t care to get up.
You talked to me when
I needed to the most.
You saved my life.
I know someone was looking
Out for me that night.
And that someone sent you.
A/N: I wrote this after I got some help because I wanted to kill myself. The person this poem is about was there for me, listened to me. He saved my life.
