Six people without any photo albums to speak of. They don't mind. The best snapshots are the ones locked deep inside, near and dear. The worst ones litter the surface, despite any attempts to hide them. You can see it in the way they walk.

Pocket Lint

WARNING

(aka the foreword)

Pocket Lint is the companion piece to Pocket Change (surprise, surprise). It is not a sequel (for obvious reasons) and, while the events included all occur prior to PC, I'm not calling it a prequel.

(Why?)

Because it just ain't, okay? You could throw dictionary after dictionary at me and I'd tell you the same thing: it just ain't. (Yea, I'd use 'ain't'.) It doesn't write as a prequel and it doesn't read as a prequel. It's just here to, as noted in the CREDITS of PC, answer some questions, provide some backstory, and give a chance for everyone to get to know the patrons of Ollis Inn just a little bit more. A collection of short short stories based around the biggest six characters of the cast, the driving forces behind the whole thing.

If you haven't read PC, that's alright. This reads as a standalone as well. It's the elastic at the end of the balloon to keep things in place, but the air's always seepin' out. Keep that in mind.

Thanks,

(and I might totally change this author's note to something that's cooler, okay. this kinda sucks as it is. like, ew.)
