Is this pointless; are hurting ourselves without any explanation?

I don't know how I should feel

I don't know what to do about everything

And I don't know if these feelings are even for real

Tell me, are these feelings for real?

I'm scared, I'm nervous you make me feel this way

I've never ever felt this way before

This seems like something I've seen in some movie

Falling in love as soon as I've gotten a glance of who you are

I don't know if this is love

I don't know if this love is for real

I don't know if I'm just being a teenager

And I don't know why you're the one I'm always dreaming of

Tell me, why are you the one I'm always dreaming of?

Life is full of so many surprises

Yet you are the best surprise that's happened to me yet

I want you, and I want to say I need you

But I'm not you; I can't tell what I want from what I really need

I don't know if I really need you

I don't know if it's just me wanting you

I don't know what to make of my feelings

And I don't know why you make me feel things I've never felt before

You are so important to me

My other half, my best friend, as crucial to me as breathing

Or if I could keep on going if you ever left my side
