In a nearby village, Tirris Melon anxiously awaited his death. He was strapped above a cauldron of wool, which would be lit any second by the angry Ednasmithians. He didn't know what he had done to deserve this. Well, he had murdered nine of them and stolen their clothes and money, but who can honestly say they've never done that?
At that moment, a cheerful Pineapple ran cheerfully through the village, knocking over the pole to which Melon was strapped. The villagers realised at once what had happened, and Melon joined Pineapple in running.
"Who are you?"
"I know who I'm not - the Deputy Prime Minister! I gave it up! Hah! Take that!"
"Er... well, thanks for saving me."
"Thanks accepted! You shall receive a reply in six to eight weeks! Diddle-diddle-diddle-dum!"
