This story has been haunting me for the past few months. I know that it's really horrible of me to introduce a new story, especially when I still have two that are incomplete, but I really loved this idea. It's based off of Gossip Girl--the whole rich Upper East Side theme thing. It's nothing like Gossip Girl, I just wanted to write a story about rich kids and their lives or whatever. I thought it would be a cute little, drama-filled story. So enjoy!

Thanks to my beta, Venus Smurf, she is awesome!

As for the other two stories, I don't know when they are going to come out. I'm still reworking the whole AIHTG story and I'm about halfway done with the next chapter of NWPC.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything but the characters and the plot. All other likenesses are purely coincidental. The title I borrowed from the song 'Glamorous' by Fergie, cause it fits :)

Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams

.1.

1.06.2008

The halls of Prudence Calloway were filled with incessant chatter. Students dressed in the traditional white shirt, black tie, grey and red sweater and black bottoms, discussed their summers: yachts, cruises and trips to Europe. This was the life of the rich and the famous.

"I got a preview of the fall Louis Vuitton collection," a girl said snidely, holding up the leather bag with the infamous letters L and V embossed on the side. "Mother got it for me as an early Christmas present. Of course, this won't compare to what I'm really getting for Christmas..."

"First of all, that was my Christmas present three years ago, I just never used it. Second of all, Daddy wanted me to get a welcoming gift to my future sibling, since you're going to be a part of the family," said a tall brunette distastefully. "Although I highly doubt you and your mother will be around any longer by Christmas."

The first girl flushed, her group of friends tittered but with a glare from the tall brunette, they were silenced.

"Regina, what a surprise."

"I can't say the same Haley," Regina drawled, twirling her chestnut curls around a perfectly manicured finger. "Daddy goes through wives like I go through clothes. You'll be lucky if you even get to move in and live in my house for more than a month."

Haley scoffed and tossed her dirty blond hair over her shoulder. "Your dad loves my mother."

Regina rolled her eyes. "Daddy is just with your mother for his own amusement. He'll drop her in a month tops, just like all your mother's previous sugar daddies dropped her."

Haley flushed even darker, but she couldn’t argue. Francine Schmidt was the epitome of a gold-digger. The only reason Haley Schmidt had even been allowed to attend Prudence Calloway was because one of her mother's previous lovers had felt sorry for her and paid for her tuition. Most of her clothes had been bought with the credit cards belonging to her mother's previous lovers. Haley bit her lip.

"Reggie, be nice.” A petite girl appeared behind Regina flanked by two males, smirking.

"I'm always nice."

One of the males, a black haired boy with glasses snorted.

"Shut up Boston."

Haley paled. She did not want to deal with the Elite right now. She glanced around nervously.

"Why Aidyn, what a pleasure, I haven't seen you in ages.” A curvaceous copper-blond sauntered up to the scene.

The petite girl sighed. "I really can't deal with you right now Mimi."

"Oh, don't you miss me? I'm sure Declan does." Mimi said, referring to the other male, who was now standing beside Aidyn protectively.

"What is she saying Declan?" Aidyn asked, looking up at the tall blond male.

His ocean blue eyes were trained on the ground. "I don't know."

Aidyn's eyes narrowed.

"He knows exactly what I'm talking about," Mimi said smugly.

Aidyn looked at her boyfriend, then her eyes widened in disbelief. "I don't believe this. It's too early for this. Please tell me this isn't happening."

Declan ran a hand through his hair and turned to Aidyn, his ocean blue eyes pleading. "Listen baby, it was just a one time thing…"

Aidyn took a step away from Declan, shaking her head. "I don't believe this. I knew you two had history, but this is ridiculous."

"I'm sorry all right? You were God knows where this summer and I was…"

"You were what, lonely? I can't believe I agreed to date you. I've known you for too long."

"Please, Aidyn, you weren't even here over summer."

"Oh, so it's now my fault?" Aidyn's voice rose.

"No! I'm not saying that…"

"You bitch," Regina hissed at Mimi. "You wanted this to happen."

Mimi shrugged and glanced smugly at the arguing couple. "Of course. That nobody stole my boyfriend."

"He was never your boyfriend Mimi," Regina shook her head in disgust before helping Boston prevent Aidyn and Declan from making further fools of themselves. After all, they were the King and Queen of Prudence Calloway.

By now, half of the school had gathered around the scene, watching with avid interest. It wasn't everyday the King and Queen of PC got into a heated argument, especially over the King's indiscretions, which were usually an avoided, forbidden topic. But when it came to petite Aidyn Hart, it seemed nothing was off limits.

"Mimi! Thank God you're here," Haley said with relief.

"Whatever Haley," Mimi rolled her eyes, then caught sight of the bag Haley was carrying. "What on earth are you doing with that bag?"

Haley looked down at her monogrammed LV bag nervously. "Oh this? It's the newest…"

"Don't lie to me. I know that bag. I just recently donated mine to the Salvation Army. It was so three years ago."

It was doubtful if Haley's face could get any redder.

"I'm not going to have someone carrying something so old walking with me. Come back when you actually have something that is not from the Salvation Army." Mimi sauntered away in her bright red stilettos.

Aidyn stood on the terrace outside her private room.

"He didn't mean it you know."

Aidyn sighed. "I know Reggie."

"Then why did you break it off?"

"We just don't belong together. I've known him ever since I was born, and it's just not right. Besides, he's had more girlfriends than I have pairs of shoes."

"Give him a chance Aidyn," Regina said quietly. "He's totally, head over heels for you, anyone can see that."

"If he loves me so much, why couldn't he tell me the truth about him and Mimi?"

Regina shrugged. "He's a guy; he's going to make mistakes. But you can be the bigger person and forgive him."

Aidyn laughed. "I didn't know you were such a deep person Reggie."

"He's tearing up the place out there. I think he already made a couple of freshmen cry. I swear one of them peed himself. It is not a pretty sight. Boston is trying to control him, but it's not working. You know how he's not allowed to come into your room."

Aidyn nodded and headed back into the school.

As soon as she stepped out of her private chamber, she was confronted by Declan.

"Baby, I didn't mean to…it was just the heat of the moment. I mean, I missed you and I was…"

"Don't you dare say you were lonely and she was there."

Declan ran a hand through his blond hair. "What else can I say to make you forgive me?"

"I don't think I can forgive you."

Declan hung his head. "I'm sorry Aidyn, I'm so sorry. I had a chance and I screwed it up."

Aidyn was silent.

"I love you," his blue eyes focused on her. "I love you so much. She means nothing to me."

Aidyn felt her knees shaking and sank to the floor. "Shit. This wasn't supposed to be so hard."

Declan sat next to her and pulled her body close to his. "I know baby."

"It's all your fault," Aidyn said weakly. He was her one weakness. He was the one thing she could never give up, no matter how angry or upset she got with him. She knew deep inside that she would always take him back. She felt disgusted with herself, having to depend on someone so heavily and allowing her life to be centered on him.

Declan wisely stayed silent. He kissed her on the forehead gently.

Angry ice blue eyes watched as Prudence Calloway's Golden Couple made up. Mimi Peterson was not happy. Hell hath no fury

"I think you're going to like it here," Xavier Wellington spoke to the newcomer as he showed him around Prudence Calloway.

The tall dark haired male gave a small smile.

"Here we are, Professor Frye for Advanced English," Xavier knocked on the door and entered into the room, the newcomer following.

Professor Frye looked up from her desk, "Ah, here we are. Class, this is our new foreign exchange student. Why don't you introduce yourself."

As soon as the newcomer stepped into the classroom, Aidyn could have sworn that the girls around her swooned. She made a sound of disgust.

"Miss Hart, do you have something to share with the class?" Professor Frye looked at Aidyn expectantly.

"No ma'am," Aidyn smiled sweetly.

"Very well, go on young man."

"I'm Roman DeLuca, I'm from Italy and I will be a student here for the rest of this year. It is a pleasure to be here." Roman glanced around the classroom, at all the faces. He could tell he was going to hate this school already. Rich American kids, who took everything for granted…it was no different than the boarding school he had attended in England.

"Well Mr. DeLuca, can you tell us what school you attended previously?"

Aidyn tuned out. Like many of the other transfer and international students here, he probably attended some other fabulously wealthy boarding school.

"England?! I knew your English was amazing" Professor Frye exclaimed.

Aidyn rolled her eyes. Suck up. Her green eyes narrowed as the boy sat down in the empty spot two diagonally from her next to Wellington. He wasn't bad looking, black hair, dark blue eyes. He just seemed like every other rich kid, always with his nose stuck up in the air.

Roman turned and saw the girl the professor had reprimanded watching him closely. What is it with this girl? He simply stared back at her.

Aidyn bit her cheek, as Roman continued to watch her passively. Then, growing bored, she smirked and turned away. This boy was different. He hadn't been the least bit intimidated, even Declan would have turned away immediately.

"Having fun?" Boston asked lazily, having watched the interaction between Aidyn and the newcomer.

Aidyn grinned at her dark haired friend. "Of course."

"You're lucky Declan isn't in this class."

Aidyn frowned. "Declan doesn't have the right to be angry with me, especially not after what happened this morning."

Boston nodded. "You forgave him."

"I did. Was I wrong to?"

Boston shrugged.

Aidyn smiled. Boston Phillips, the studious and conservative one in their exclusive clique. He was the most level-headed and down to earth rich person she knew. He was most likely the most intelligent one too. She watched as he pushed his glasses up his nose. She knew few people who could pull off the "glasses" look, but Boston did it effortlessly. Of course, his glasses probably cost more than the average person’s. But that was to be expected from the heir of a multimillion technology empire.

"Is there something on my face?"

Aidyn shook her head.

"Miss Hart, for the second time today, is there something you would like to share with the class?"

Aidyn swallowed the nasty reply she was about to send to the teacher before Boston interrupted her.

"Sorry Professor, I had to ask Aidyn a question," Boston said politely.

Professor Frye flushed and ran a nervous hand through her hair before smiling sweetly at Boston. "Very well then Mr. Phillips."

Aidyn scowled. Boston was also the number one teacher's pet in their school. "It is unfair how teachers fall for you." Of course, Frye was always out of get her, had been since her freshman year.

Boston grinned. "Part of my charm."

Aidyn resisted the urge to scoff. Charm? Everyone knew that Boston was the practical and reasonable one out of her, Declan, Regina, and him.

"Look at it this way, at least you don’t have forty year old professors going through menopause having crushes on you."

Aidyn laughed out loud.

"Miss Hart! That is the final straw! Detention!"

"Professor, I apologize, it was my fault again."

"Mr. Phillips, do not make excuses for Miss Hart," Professor Frye glared at Aidyn. "She is always causing racket in the classroom."

Aidyn stood up and grabbed her stuff.

"Miss Hart! Sit back down this instant or I will report you to the Headmaster! Sit down!" the professor screeched.

Aidyn raised an eyebrow at the professor. "Go ahead."

"Miss Hart, do not forget your place in this school."

"And you shouldn't forget yours. Flirting with your students, tsk tsk."

Professor Frye gasped. "Out! I want you out!"

"Gladly." Aidyn stepped out of the classroom and slammed the door behind her. She stalked to her private room and immediately fell onto a nearby couch. What was I thinking? Frye is definitely reporting me to Finnegan. God, why can't I just control my temper? She buried her face in the soft fabric and promptly fell asleep.

"Who was that girl?" Roman asked his guide, Xavier.

"Oh you mean the one who was giving Frye a coronary?"

Roman nodded.

"That's Aidyn Hart, our resident queen here at Prudence Calloway."

"Queen?"

Xavier furrowed his brows. What is the best way to put this?

Roman waited.

"There are five people here at Prudence Calloway you should be aware of. The first is Declan Roberts. He is the king here at Prudence Calloway. His family owns the entire city and this school. His ancestors set up the Elite system. The Elites are made up of four people. The King is one of them and he chooses the other three. One male, two females. One queen, we just call the other two the Prince and Princess. They are royalty here. Everything they says goes, especially the King's words. His words are gold."

"Frye didn't seem to respect the girl."

"Aidyn's a bit difficult. She's always like that. She's actually a good student. Top grades in our class. Surprising huh?"

"You mentioned there were five people to watch out for?"

"Oh yeah. Aidyn is another one of them. She's Declan's by the way, so anyone who messes with her has to answer to Declan. You can be sure that Frye is going to be hearing from him soon. He's extremely protective of her, apparently they grew up together, along with Regina. Regina is Aidyn's best friend. She's spoiled and filthy rich, just like Declan. You don't want to mess with her either. Her father is the one and only Reginald Hudson, he owns the entertainment world. Another one is Boston. He's in our English class. He’s the dark haired guy with glasses, who sits next to Aidyn. He's probably the most reasonable and approachable one out of all of them. His family is into technology, they donated all of the technology we have here."

"So they are the Elite?" Roman asked. What sort of medieval system was in place here? Not that his previous school had been better, but it seemed as though he was in a completely different world altogether at Prudence Calloway. He noted that Xavier failed to mention what Aidyn's legacy was.

"Yes. The fifth person is Mimi Peterson. Everyone says that she would have been Queen if Aidyn was not here. Everyone knows that she is after Declan. You should watch out for her the most. That woman is pure evil."

"Have you ever crossed with her?"

"God no," Xavier shuddered, shaking his sandy blond hair. "Mimi gives me the creeps. I've seen her mess with some of my friends. It gets ugly. She'll do anything to get what she wants."

Suddenly Roman was feeling as though he should have stayed in England. Back there, there was no hierarchy. Of course, there were students who ruled over others, but it was not set in stone. Not everything was up to the word of one student. Luckily, he had, for the most part, been left alone. Of course, there were reasons why. He could only hope that here, he could remain as anonymous as possible. At least now he knew who to avoid at all costs.

Roman was jerked out of his thoughts when he rounded a corner and was run over. Great. He looked into dark green eyes. Aidyn Hart had just run into him and was now sprawled on top of him. One of the few people I'm supposed to avoid and I run into her on the first day. Above them stood a tall blond who looked furious. Roman grimaced. He definitely should have stayed in England.

A/N: Short first chapter. Review please! Feel free to ask questions and I’ll try my best to answer them. I’m hoping this story will actually go somewhere and people will like it. Thanks for reading!
