i made an angel, mommy

.

.

.

why are your eyes
wide and frightened?
just take a look,
i made it just for you.

don’t look at my hands,
it’s not there;
i hid it just for you.

why do you scream at me,
isn’t it pretty?
i gutted it myself.

can you see her eyes,
aren’t they pretty?
i can see you in them,
through the mirrors.
do you see her wings?
i made them last.

don’t look at me,
it’s not my blood
i’m covered in.
she was just someone,
but i changed her,
just for you.

do you see, mother?
i made you an angel.
will you love me now?

.

.

.

a/n: i’m depraved, i know.
