As you sit; your heart beating fast
'This is it I've done it at last!'
You shout to yourself
As you enter the realm of fantasy
and dreams.

You are the hero;
The trusted one;
The one to call to get the job done
You choose your weapon from within
Ready to face powers that lie
forever hidden.

You're sitting in a room
It's been a long day
So much to do; so little to say
You've worked a fourteen hour shift
Time to go home if you've caught my drift.
In your hands you behold
Something that glitters but isn't gold.
It's the next generation console.

Dive within the waters that run deep
No time for stalling; no time for sleep
Love, lust, affection so deep...
Tis a shame he doesn't love me.

Sweet secrets and confusion
Tastes like sugar
You can't love him he's like your
brother.

Insults screaming left and right
She's fat, she ugly; her clothes are
too tight.
When will they see?
When will they see the light?
When will they see
That I'm not them and this is me.

You gently float back into your seat
Awake and aware of what is true
You've been living a fantasy
A lie
That's obviously become a part of you.
