FALLEN TRUTHS

- - -

behind me lies another fallen
another truth buried under bloodshed tears
these hollow steps I’m taking towards life
keeps on itching inside of my chest
shooting bullets towards lifestyles
makes wounds easier made
cutting isn’t the same thing as forgiveness
it just feels the same

and behind me there lies another fallen
another soul who wants to hide
a girl who’s always crawling
I’d carve her eyes out, just to forget her smile

I have a secret I’d like to share with you
but I don’t know if you’re worthy enough to catch this illness
always vomiting reasons to forget about truth
always ripping to get to the end of this bare existence
it feels like walking over corpses, over black hidden hearts
over miles of disorder, miles of death that pounds

and ...
someone once told me
that talking’s just a waste of breath
and living’s just a waste of death
but that beauty still remains in words
and that’s why my life will keep on lingering
until the very end of suffering
... I chose to believe it

A/N: I cannot believe my muse. I want- no, I need to finish my fic, and she just gives inspiration for poetry; first a haiku, and now this? Would someone, besides Marine, like to trade muse with me? ;D)
