There Is A Place I Stay

There is a place I stay.
Board myself in just to keep you away.
You still seep in the cracks, rising up from below.
There’s nowhere on earth that I can go.

(Assimilation)
Gotta get back where I belong.

(Incorporation)
Don’t think there’s been such a thing all along.

(Retention)

Feel at home with the gone and forgotten.

(Assimilation)

It used to be divine, now it blends in with the rotten.

There is nowhere I can go; there is no place I can hide.
It feels like you keep coming from the inside.

I open my mouth but no sound comes out.
I lost the only thing I couldn’t do without.
Try to build a cage around this thing I’ve become,
But something tells me the worst is to come.

There is nowhere I can go; there is no place I can hide.
It feels like you keep coming from the inside.
