Thinking about what happened

I wrote this letter in my head,

This time I can’t forgive you

Because it hurts me what you said

Writing it out, verse by verse,

I can't believe what it says,

But I wont take it back, no

I realise this is what I meant

Thoughts playing through my mind

I wonder why I couldn’t see,

I wrote this letter in my head, and

I'm giving back what you gave me

Perfect, but it couldn’t last

It was too good to be true, and

I’ve finished writing so here it goes:

It's done and I'm over you.
