It’s only caring that you show

It’s your words that marked the spot

In that delicate place of my heart

I’m sure it’s not just caring that I felt

And since then, every time we talk I start to melt!

My fondness turned love so deep

That I can see you even at my sleep!

You held me in your arms as you say, “It’s also how I feel.”

Oh God, I just wish it was for real.

Morning quickly took me back to reality

As if telling me to keep my sanity

I instantly realized I was just crazy

That I’m just forcing myself to believe you also love me

As I walked with you going to school

I was thinking that I’ve been such a fool

You stopped suddenly and whispered a phrase

With a kiss that lead to another expression on my face

I know what you said is not profound

But I wasn’t able to utter a single sound

All these years I never knew

You wanted to say, “I’m in love with you.”
