You take a walk in the park,

Smoke your last cigar,

And wade around in the grass with the geese.

You smoked it too soon, and you are all out food,

To feed to your lovely new friends.

Life threw you fast one and you didn’t know how to react,

You were a legend my love, but nobody had your back.

Suicide legends never die

Suicide legends never die

I’ve always wonder why, you took off, but you left the sky.

Suicide legends never die my love.

The air is brisk, the snow is falling down,

Your frown has left your face, and the cigar hits the ground.

You stroll along the river banks and question all around,

Your life, your love, and this god forsaken town.

I look you in the eyes and I tell you some words,

Close your lips and point to some birds,

Think about them and think about how to fly,

Fly my dear you rock n roll suicide.

You’re a legend that is no doubt.

So one must wonder why your career headed south.

What happened? Were you just too soon?

Well, all I know is you are singing the blues.

So come with me and will sail away,

Leave a note for friends, cry, but go anyway.

Let’s not think too much about them,

Your life and what you did it to it.

You won’t be bunching back too soon

For you are caught up on the blues

But dear this remains true:

Suicide legends never die

Suicide legends never die

You’re a legend and you’re a suicide.

But my dear you will never die.

So lets hit the stars, I’m growing old.

Growing too young, too much of a fool.

Let’s head back to the heaven in the sky.

But remember this dear: Suicide legends never die.
