A/N: Starting on a new story. This one is more fantasy based then my previous works but I liked the way I combined angst and fantasy to bring out the situation. I’m finished with Tsurugi: Tsubasa no Gedatsu so now I can work on this story with regular updates.

Sorry I’ve been so behind lately, I’ve been trying to edit my works to make them look a little better and get rid of minor spelling and punctuation errors as well as add text when it should be added.

This work was inspired by-

Sacrifice

Wish – by Ali Project (on the CD Simple Plus in which a lot of songs are that inspired this work)

Angels

An elf story by a friend of mine

Fantasy RPG games

Mirror Legends

Several anime

An old story of mine called Tarou’s Strange Adventures

Suggestions:

Any story under my name- Got to do that old shamless plug thing

Torn Family Portrait- SilverIsamu

Anything under Kurogane Black Ninja

Lethal Trust- By Sweet Child

Maidens of el Valentina- Natsuhime

Nights of the Angels- Shards of a Shattered Heart

Winduri- Lone Wolf NEO

Witch Hunt- YanZ-Providence

Anything by Outlaw02

Anything by still2twisted

Now with my Useless Information (does anyone read this anyway?)

Title: Fractured Reflections

By: Melissa Norvell

Rating: PG-13 (may verge on R)

Pairings: ALL TYPES – Yes, shoujo-ai, shounen-ai and hetero.

Warnings: Shoujo-ai, shounen-ai, hetero, sexual content, violence, language

Shoujo-ai/shounen-ai- If homosexuality offends you, then run far away because this work has its fair share of homosexual pairings.

Touches on Religion: Yep if Lucifer or God on small scales offends you then walk away. I am a religious person but this story is not supportive of any one religion. If you don’t agree with my views you don’t have to since religion is a widely-varying subject. Just don’t hate on me for it.

Sexual content: If you’re not mature enough to handle sex (most likely implied and non explicit) and situations involving sexual gestures or subjects then this is not a story for you.

Language: A few characters have rather colorful language. If cursing offends you, turn back now.

Violence: This is based around a war; people will die and be subject to violence whether it be verbal abuse or physical abuse. This also deals with the subject of rape. If you are touchy about rape or think of it as offensive then do not read this. I had a friend who was raped, so I can understand why some people would feel this way.

Genre: Romance, Action/Adventure, Fantasy, Angst, Horror, Psychological, Mystery, Supernatural, Drama

NOTE: This could be considered a sequel to Sacrifice but it has nothing to do with the story of Sacrifice at all. There are about 5 or so characters that appear but my characters exist in a “universe” so some of them make appearances in my other stories.

I’ll have a Faces in the Crowd section that will explain where these characters are from and give a brief description on how they vary.

Anyhow, here is the prologue.

Prologue

XxXxXx

A mirror produces an exact image of oneself but upon being shattered the image becomes distorted and reflected in each fragment as a piece of oneself. Reflections change over time and tend to warp into an indistinct image.

The new image bends and warps within the fragments, forming something new from the instability of mere parts of a whole. Unlike its former self, this new image rises from the reunited fragments and the shadow begins to take on a chaotic nature, giving rise to power for those who possess it.

In the wrong hands, this new image could prove lethal especially in time of war…

As those around the image will soon find possessing the mirror which birthed such a being in a time of war will not only be confusing but dangerous as well.

After all, who can you trust when you barely know them or what they stand for? One mistake could either mean the death of all races that search for it or the birth of peace.

To Be Continued…

A/N: Yes, it was short and I promise a very long first chapter. Please review and at least tell me if it sounds interesting. If no one likes it, then I’m going to take it down and post it later when I’m not working on so many works at once.

So please support my story and I’ll return the favor by recommending you or giving you a review!
