.The Crow Men.

Play the strings of a broken heart
Hear the tune of a scream undone
Mix and mingle in the blood that be shed
And watch as the show is begun

A daughter lays wake in the shine of the moon
Eyes shut tight and fingers twisted
Chest ripped open; bleeding heart aglow

Breathe in; breathe out
Breathe in; breathe out

Time is slowing
The crow men are coming
To take her away to wonderland
Where the hearts are raw and the tears are running
Showing all just how cunning the crows can be

They dance and sing amongst spilled life
Eyes bright and mouths wide
Glistening beaks to the light

As flames die down and embers to ashes
One last scream is born
The end of a legend begun...
