All These Questions

If my life was different,

Would it be the same?

Would I take pleasure

From my pain?

Would I find sanctuary,

In an open field of grass?

Or would I text my life away

With indifferent 'lol's

And not laugh?

Would I wake up to shouting,

And know each day was a game?

Would I hide behind a mask,

Knowing what each day would bring?

And let the world in?

All these questions,

An understanding from within.
