Disclaimer: I own nothing...

The reason I put in a disclaimer is because this story was inspired by a lot of shows and movies, and I might have put some graphics and stuff shown in those movies and shows into this story.

Btw, this is my first fantasy story so please go easy on me...so here we go..enjoy!

In a world where realms are divided, the Realm of Humans and The Realm of Spirits are forever fighting. The war was started over a 1000 years ago and it still continues today. However, Princess Ren of the Dragons, who was also half dragon, was also forever searching for the missing Prince Chan of the Sun and Moon, who was known to hod incredible powers, for he was the one she was destined to be with. It was rumored that Prince Chan may have ended up in the Realm of Humans when the two people were separated. But with the Realm of Humans and the Realm of Spirits fighting, will Princess Ren and Prince Chan ever be together?

“Oh Princess Ren! His majesty the King summoned for you in the meeting room!” Servant Kya exclaimed.

“Huh? Oh, okay. Thanks, you can tell them I'm on my way.” Princess Ren replied and closed her book of myths and legends.

Princess Ren was daughter of King Anston and Queen Margot of the Land of Dragons as well as the next heir to the throne. Princess Ren, though she appeared to be very bubbly and carefree, was a brave warrior skilled in martial arts, as well as a protector and friend to her people.

Ren roamed through the hallway and into the meeting room where her father the King, her mom the Queen, and the Commander of their army, Commander Scorp.

“Ah yes, sweetheart, come come.” her father greeted and Ren sat down at a chair across from the Commander.

“Are they still attacking?” Ren suddenly questioned sounding serious, referring to the secret organization IMD from the Realm of Humans that had been hating and attacking her Realm of Spirits ever since.

“Unfortunately, yes. In fact, they've attacked all the way through the Hai Ti Mountains. They're not very far from us now.” Commander Scorp looked down.

“Ugh! I don't believe this. I mean, why do those stupid humans think we're bad anyway?! If anyone's bad, it's them!” Ren yelled.

“Ren, calm down. Commander, are there any news as to what they might be doing next?” Queen Margot asked.

“Uh, yes your majesty. There are actually some news, or actually rumors, saying that something might be happening in the Forbidden Forest. I think that's where the humans might be attacking next.” Commander Scorp replied.

“All right. Well then, Ren? Would you like to go and see what might be lurking in the Forbidden Forest?” King Anston asked. He would've gone himself, but seeing as how much older he was now than before, Ren went along with her father's request.

That night, about an hour or so before she was going to enter the Forbidden Forest, Ren sat in her room and took out her book of myths and legends her grandmother have given to her before she had passed away.

Carefully, she opened the antique book and graced her hands delicately over the jeweled illustration of a dragon. She turned a page once more and read her favorite story.

Once upon a time, in a land far away, lived the Princess of the Dragons and the Prince of the Sun and Moon. The two were soul mates and loved each other dearly. But because of an evil force, the two were separated. The Princess of the Dragons remained where she was, in the Realm of Spirits. However, the Prince of the Sun and Moon ended up in the Realm of Humans without much knowledge of the Realm of Spirits' existence. But thanks to the Princess of the Dragons, who literally crossed over to the Realm of Humans overcoming all the terrible hardships and obstacles in her way, he was saved by her and the two lived happily ever after.

Ren loved this story very much because she was the Princess of Dragons. And, her grandmother had told her that this story was a true story and it becomes true every one thousand years. But one of the more bigger reasons for her belief was the fact that Prince Chan of the Sun and Moon had gone missing and she believed very much that he might be in the Human Realm without that much knowledge of the Realm of Spirits just like it said in the book.

Knock, knock...

Someone was at the door. Ren quickly shoved her book of myths and legends into a small bag and also shoved in some extra clothes and all the essentials. She carefully put on her dragon amulet. She didn't bother to change out of her Royal Robe since every time she turned back into a person after changing into a dragon, she always ended up wearing her Royal Red Warrior's Outfit.

Knock, knock...

“Uh, who is it?” Ren yelled.

“It is Servant Kya. His majesty the King has summoned you to the Fountain Field for your mission to the Forbidden Forest.” Servant Kya said.

“Oh, um alright. Thank you.” Ren said and took one last look at her room for it might be her last time looking at it. The Forbidden Forest was forbidden for a reason. Every single person to have ever walked into the Forbidden Forest never made it out. Some said that they all died out of fear. Some even swore they had screaming coming out of the Forbidden Forest every night.

Ren slowly walked down the hallway once again and headed out the door and into the Fountain Field where her father, her mother, the Commander, and all her family members and friends were gathered.

Her friend, Lianne walked up to her first with a sad look on her face. “Are you sure you wanna do this?”

“I have to, this might be the only chance we might find out what those stupid humans might do next.” Ren replied.

“Oh, but what if you don't come back?”

“Don't worry, I will.” Ren said and gave Lianna a hug. She then gave everyone else a goodbye hug as well. She finally got to her parents, and she gave them the biggest hug. She waved goodbye and transformed into her dragon form. Her long and skinny body whooshing along with the wind, her mane blowing angelically. Her white scales clashed with her white mane, making her look wonderful.

Everyone stared at her as she glided up and soared through the night sky. Everyone kept on staring until she was no longer seen.

Ren loved the feeling of wind caressing her body. It made her feel great. But pretty soon, she had to land in the Forbidden Forest. The forest where she might never return to the Land of Dragons.

To be continued...

A/N: I know this chapter is short, but all my first chapters are short, but it'll all eventually get longer, don't worry.

Oh and here are the pronunciations:

Ren: sounds just like its spelled.

Chan: It's pronounced like Shaun but with a “CH” instead of the “SH”

Please tell me what you think of it! R'n'R
