BORROWED TIME

- - -

the clock is ticking
your time is running out
but don’t worry
you can always borrow some more
no strings attached

(you don’t seem to appreciate
the borrowed time you’re living on
your arrogance is as strong as ever
and your self-pity just growing)

ah, there is your bell tolling...

surprised to see me?
you shouldn’t be
because you didn’t forget one
of the oldest laws of nature, did you?
whatever you have borrowed
sooner or later
you will have to pay back

A/N: I’m not particulary fond of this one; the message is there, but I wish... ah, well, if wishes were horses... I actually wrote this in five minutes, so, perhaps for being trash it’s good trash? ;)
