elastic rebound theory
science told me that rocks are pliant
- at least for the most part. -
and when they are stretched a certain way
they then snap back into shape.
(i think that hearts work in that
same exact way.)
but when their elastic limit has been breached
they fall to your feet as dust
…in more beautiful colors
than the rocks of your ninth grade science class.
