Ancient Tongued Romance

Let’s go dancing under the stars

So I can see them twinkle in your eyes

I would like to hold your hand

Just to see your fingers with mine

Speak to me in that ancient tongue

Of laced silver and liquid honor

Upon your tongue it finds new life

And beauty of even greater renown

Gaze into my eyes

With yours that are so endlessly deep

I care not who might see

For no one sees you as I do

Hold me close and keep me warm

From the bite of cold around us

In your arms I would go anywhere

So take me where you must

But first,

Let’s go dancing under the stars

So I can see them twinkle in your eyes

I would like to hold your hand

Just to see your fingers with mine
