As far as revelations go,

I’ve had many,

my most recent

is that I cannot

ignore the demons inside myself.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to be violent,

and make people bleed for their deceit.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to make myself

bleed for my deceit.

I can’t ignore my demons.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to forget

how to care.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to give up on everyone,

even me, because we’re ugly.

Do you have these demons?

There is a part of myself,

that wants to continue my addictions

till the day I die.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to be promiscuous,

the demon of infidelity.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to break down,

destroy all that I love in my life.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to die.

My strongest demon.

There is a part of myself,

that wants to repeat the mistakes

of my elders and of my own.

There is a part of myself,

that believes I will one day

become my mother,

and hold her demons as well.

There is a part of myself,

that is always holding back my demons.

Doing so will silence your soul,

and as far as revelations go,

this is my greatest.
