The fairies who laugh in the warm summer sun
And the fairies who laugh in the snow
Are speaking of trails and telling the tales
From a very long time ago
The unicorns prance and the unicorns dance
Beneath a pale silvery moon
They speak of the mothers, the sisters and brothers
And of the lovers who swoon
The dragons they fly and the dragons they sigh
And from their throats gurgles a flame
To see what they might in the firelight
But never to point any blame
Foxes hunt and owls hoot
And the spirits have come to give fright
As the wolves howl, out on the prowl
On this, a most magical night
