Fools…

Bleed from your hearts, and your very souls. Those who cannot see light, those who lack reason; because of some invisible haemorrhage in their brain restricting all common-sense. Plato once said that “We can forgive children who are afraid of the dark, but we cannot forgive men that are afraid of the light.”

With this in mind think of every day life, people are full of ignorance, scared of the unknown. Some of you will already know this I’m sure, people pause before pursuing things that may go outside of their comfort zone. But this applies to mental ideas, as much as physical actions. Supposing to a priest that god does not exist could cause much disdain; but mere supposition is not to be disproved by faith. My point being is that to rid such ignorance, one must be open to all suggestions. Some if the greatest philosophers of all times were religious, but had intelligence enough to accept that god may not exist, and god may not be so great.

This world is polluted with this mass moving unintelligence, motivated by hearsay, spoon fed and falsely believing they have free will. This is like a hive-mind, a pulsating coagulation seemingly benign, but so really damaging. People take assumptions as answers, nodding like imbeciles marvellously oblivious to the fact that a veil of deception has been lowered across their eyes. We Thinkers are plagued by this filth; angered by the blatant disrespect for knowledge. What can we say is certain? Of course there are many theories and answers, but the Cartesian ideas, I think explain the best.

For all of Rene Descartes hard work, he found only a scant few ideas that were indubitable. However, The Sheep may think that this man seeks to render obsolete all they have believed in, Heresy! They cry; of course the fear of The Unknown that runs in their veins causes them to turn, the crowd mentality in its greatest example. My blood boils at these cretins, for poor Descartes is a wise one, a great man indeed, for he realises and sees the light for what it is. He seeks not to disbelieve, but is ready to accept all he believes could be a deception; all the things he thought he knew would become lies. But it may not be that the “Truths” are Lies, and in the same token, his senses may not be deceived; but honest to the world around us.

Why is it so hard to understand, to use sense? Why are some people so idiotic? I cannot explain my confusion with mere words, but those who understand, those who seek true knowledge, join me; for we may be a dying species.

To know is to understand that you don’t.
